International Science Innovation Building

BigComp 2019 will be held in Kyoto, Japan. The keynote sessions will be in the International Science Innovation Building at Kyoto University. The International Science Innovation Building was established at Kyoto University as a hub for the generation of new knowledge, and as a way for the university to provide value to the global community. The building pulls together the strengths of Kyoto University and other education and research institutions from within Japan and around the world, government agencies and other public bodies, and private-sector companies and organizations.

International Science Innovation building is at the Kyoto University Yoshida Main campus.

How to get to JR Kyoto Station?

This section explains how to get to Kyoto station, which is the nearest main station to the conference venue, International Science Innovation Building, Kyoto University. The closest airport to Kyoto city is Kansai Airport (KIX). Below, we describe the way from KIX to the Kyoto station.

There are two convenient ways to get to Kyoto from Kansai Airport: JR Airport Express HARUKA and limousine bus. Although both are good ways, HARUKA is a little faster (75 min vs. 85 min) but a little more expensive (2,850 JPY vs. 2,550 JPY) than the limousine bus.

A. Airport Express HARUKA from Kansai Airport to Kyoto station
